Harmony, rhythm, indelible songs are the hallmarks of the folk quartet of Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem. This band’s steadfast brew of wit, camaraderie and musicality will leave audiences humming and hopeful, spirits renewed.
Musically, this fun show journeys skillfully through 200 years of American roots music. From bluegrass barnstormers to sultry swing, old-time gospel to bluesy folk-rock, they consistently turn in lush arrangements with “stylish, unexpected choices”.
This group, which has toured extensively throughout the United States, is also known for its superb vocalists and their trademark harmonies. The Boston Herald states they “continuously earn their title as “one of America’s most inventive string bands.”
